Abstract
Background and objectives : Knowledge transfer is a major issue in health promotion performance in the field of health education. Yet, there is still a big gap between the knowledge generated by research and knowledge being used in practice. This paper is a review of the published literature, linked websites and prestigious universities around the world in the field of health knowledge transfer. Material and Methods : This study is a non-systematic review of the available relevant literature. This paper is a descriptive study of published articles, linked websites, and websites of reputable universities around the world in the field of health knowledge transfer. Results : The results of the study showed that health knowledge transfer is discussed further in the following fields: health knowledge transfer from university to community, industry and commerce, politicians and knowledge transfer within the organization. According to this research, 4 types of health knowledge transfer models are including: Models of research- development and distribution of health knowledge- problem solving of health knowledge models- health models connections and models of social interaction of health knowledge. The final model of health knowledge is recurrent interaction between researchers and users which is a suitable model. According to the review of health knowledge transfer processes between the two systems (researchers and users), a six-step process is proposed which includes: - health knowledge generation-knowledge application-disseminating of health knowledge - health knowledge receiving- Compliance of knowledge health –Use of health knowledge. Conclusion : The results of the study show that precise and logical consideration in the processes of health knowledge transfer in different fields and role of intermediary factors in health knowledge transfer around the world in prospering universities will help us to identify the most effective approaches and we must consider its localization and establish the best interactions in transfer of health knowledge . Clearly, the role of mindful and cogitative in logical interaction of health knowledge transfer process and preventing unilateral exploitation and focus on priorities will be very important and it is necessary to prevent abuse
