Abstract

This article deals with the activities of international cooperation organizations in the Asian region and
their involvement with India. It also analyzes the importance of India's membership in these
organizations economically, politically, socially and strategically, as well as the extent to which India's
presence in these associations has the power to achieve the goals and projects they have set. In
addition, the current shortcomings of India's foreign policy in the region, their detrimental impact on
the external affairs of the country and, conversely, the high efficiency of the cooperation of the country
with the regional organizations and the foreseeable future are also covered. Problem-chronological,
comparative and general scientific analysis methods were used in writing the article. The scientific
novelty of the article is that by studying India's participation in regional cooperation organizations in
the Asian region, it is possible to determine in which areas the country is active and effective or,
conversely, in which spheres it is weak. The article consists of abstract, keywords, introduction, main
part, conclusion and list of references.
